Ken is an award winning documentary filmmaker who has a passion for stories that touch lives and not just shine a light on problematic issues. He seeks out the many who have triumphed over adversity and the everyday heroes who quietly work on solutions to make their corner of the world a better place. Ken has been recognized by his peers with an EMMY nomination for Sir, Yes Sir, a TELLY AWARD for Our Town, Sarasota, both an AURORA-Best of Show Award and a NETA award for Creative Hearts and a VIDEOGRAPHER award for Words of Hope. He served as Executive Producer at WUSF TV where he headed up documentary projects as well as manage corporate clients on a variety of educational and marketing projects. Ken has extensive experience in planning, budgeting, and project development. Ken has also directed live newscast, talk shows and numerous commercials and promotional spots for broadcast television. Now, Ken heads up his own production company, Ground Fog Productions and is busy developing strategies to help businesses get the best use of video for television, web and DVD distribution. His passion is developing new programs for television audiences that inform and inspire the viewer. According to Ken, “Get the Picture is a program that will inspire people to explore their creative side with their own camera.
